Details on warranty policy, see HERE Locating Serial Number on models pre Feb2004: 1.Open Guard by lifting the lid. 2. The serial number is stamped into the edge of the casting lip (where the guard cover meets the casting) in small numerals. Locating serial number on models after Feb2004: Serial number is located on sticker on the front of the headstock.
