Side Cutter Unit: (Must have)

The side cutter unit threads onto the lathe spindle and holds the cutters for side cutting/pattern making.

 Can also be used with the Threading Kit (51011) and can also take the Deluxe 4 Blade Thread Cutter (51012)

(Only the Standard side cutter "Y" thread available at this stage)

This tool gives a longer reach for the Side Cutter Unit

Cutters

These cutters make patterns on the side of a piece, rather than on the end. Varying the cutter varies the types of patterns that you can make. All cutters made from HSS. You will need to use the Side Cutter Unit and any one of the following:

• Hollow U Cutter (Code 51004)

• Square Side Cutter (Code 51005)

• Left Hand Radius Cutter (Code 51006)

• Right Hand Radius Cutter (Code 51007)

Alternatively, you can make your own shapes by using a Blank Cutter (51003)

Consists of thread chaser, 1.5mm pitch thread bush (5100) 3mm pitch thread bush (51001) and fastenings. The 2mm pitch thread bush is standard with the Ornamental Unit.

Deluxe 2 Blade Cutter: Code 51012 ( Must have this unit unless you have side cutter equipments) 

Deluxe 2 Blade Cutter to give you absolute thread cutting precision & convenience

Toolpost slots in place of the Ornamental Spindle Unit. Has 2 slot positions, one on either side (similar to a metal lathe toolpost) Takes Square End HSS Cutters (cutters not included)

Holder to sharpen the HSS Cutter Bits

This unit is used to align the OT unit. Must have use with NOVA 2 Morse Taper Acruline System
