"I made a vessel using AOL CD Roms which I received in the mail.  I had to ask my neighbors for all of their old CD Roms to have enough.  I glued the CD Roms together and turned them using the PowerGrip Jaw.  The vessel turned out just as I planed.  It is so far the most unique and fun piece that I have ever turned.  I would also like to tell you that the CD Roms can be used to highlight the top rims of your favorite vase of bowl.   I understand that you are concerned with safety of your readers if you choose to post this story.  Let me say that one important thing to remember when using the CD Roms is to sand of the print on the front side to assure the adhesive holds.  I hope that this project catches your eye as it has in my workshop and you select me as one to the winners to receive a free SuperNova Chuck.   All I need to finish my SuperNova collection is a 11" Cole Jaws, Spigot and 4" Dovetail Jaws!"

These were the comments from our safety advisor - Trevor Cole:

"Novel - I would like to see the finished product.   I wonder what glue you used to glue the CD's together?  Eye protection would be of prime importance also what about some breathing protection during the finishing??"
